Directions to the NLA

From Johannesburg:

Travel towards Pretoria either via the N1 or the R21 (past the airport). If you come via the R21, get off it and onto the N1 towards Polokwane (Pietersburg).  Not all the signs have been changed yet.

Once on the N1, go past the Rigel avenue and the Atterbury off ramps.  There are currently a lot of road works (Gautrain) between these two off ramps so please be careful.  The next off ramp is the Lynnwood road turn off (the sign is missing due to the road works).

Take the Lynnwood road off ramp which is shortly after the Atterbury off ramp.  Stay in the middle lane.  At the traffic light, turn right into Lynnwood road and stay in the left lane.  At the traffic light, turn left at the yield sign into Meiring Naude road.  (This is the road which runs past the CSIR).  At the third traffic light, turn left into Quintin Brand road into Perseqour Technopark. {The first traffic light is where Kings Highway runs into Meiring Naude, at the second traffic light there is a Sasol garage on your left hand side and also the main entrance to CSIR on your right hand side The next traffic light is where you turn.} The name of the office park is written on a wall on your left hand side.  Once in the office park, carry on till the 4-way stop.  Turn left at the stop street.  The NLA is the second building on your right hand side (less than 100 m from the stop street).

If you miss the Lynnwood road off ramp, travel on until you can get off onto the N4 which is the next off ramp and travel towards Witbank.  Take the very first road where you can get off the N4 (Watermeyer str.)  Keep left and turn left at the first traffic light into Watermeyer str. Turn left again at the next traffic light into Cussonia.  Travel west towards town and the Botanical Gardens.  The N4 is now on your left hand side.  At the fist traffic light (go past the other small streets), turn left into Meiring Naude, go over the N4.  At the next traffic light, turn right into Persequor Technopark.  Once in the office park, carry on till the 4-way stop. Turn left at the stop street.  The NLA is the second building on your right hand side (less than 100 m from the stop street).

From the north (Polokwane side):

Once past the Zambezi and Stormvoël turnoffs, get off onto the N4 which is the next off ramp and travel towards Witbank.  Take the very first road where you can get off the N4 (Watermeyer str.)  Keep left and turn left at the first traffic light into Watermeyer str. Turn left again at the next traffic light into Cussonia.  Travel west towards town and the Botanical Gardens.  The N4 is now on your left hand side.  At the fist traffic light (go past the other small streets), turn left into Meiring Naude, go over the N4.  At the next traffic light, turn right into Persequor Technopark.  Once in the office park, carry on till the 4-way stop.
