MetCert Re-certification

Re-certification in terms of ISO 17024 requires that certified persons demonstrate their competence on an on-going basis.

MetCert Re-certification requires the submission of evidence to demonstrate that the required number of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points have been earned annually over a three year period. (Note: Applicants are advised not to wait until the end of their initial MetCert certificate validity, before the accumulation of the required CPD points. Ideally, 2 of the 6 required CPD points should be accumulated per year for the three years of the certificate’s validity.)
